Word of the Week - Refresh

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25

We all desire and need to be Refreshed, which means to be given new strength and energy;  to be reinvigorated.  I love God’s paradoxical economy where we receive by giving and win by surrendering.  God’s economy is one of abundant generosity not scarcity and thus He loves it when we trust Him and give of our time, energy and resources freely with a generous spirit.  In Christ, these actions have the power to Refresh us with new energy and life that is truly life. Step out in faith this week by generously pouring into someone and receive the gift and blessing of being Refreshed by the Lord through His power at work within us.  

God is a rewarder of a generosity.
