Chuck Scott

Chuck and his wife Julie have been married for 37 years, have three children, and are new grandparents. Chuck earned All-American and SEC Legend honors while playing football for his alma mater, Vanderbilt University. He was a second-round draft pick for the Los Angeles Rams and played four years in the NFL. After football, Chuck went to work for Young Life, a nonprofit worldwide Christian ministry reaching teens for Jesus. Chuck has spent the last 32 years in this ministry. He currently serves as Director of Development Initiatives at Young Life. Chuck was responsible for developing Carolina Point, Young Life's newest $35,000,000 camp property built from the ground up to meet the needs of "every kid", especially kids with disabilities. Chuck developed Tudor Farms, a 6,500-acre sportsman’s paradise located on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay, near Cambridge, Maryland. He is currently working on a young men’s initiative to discover why this generation of young men are disappearing from Christian activities, Church, and leadership positions. He is passionate about leading others and serving.
